What does "under the tongue" actually do?
The tissue beneath the tongue is thin and rich in blood vessels, so a peptide placed there can absorb directly into the bloodstream instead of being swallowed and broken down in the stomach.
How is this different from a pill?
A swallowed pill passes through the stomach and gut, where acid, enzymes, and first-pass metabolism break much of it down before it works. PermeaPulse absorbs through the lining of the mouth and skips the stomach.
Does every peptide work with the technology?
No, and we will tell you straight. A molecule's size, structure, stability, and permeability all affect whether it suits oromucosal delivery. PermeaPulse is a platform, not one fixed formula, and we evaluate each molecule.
How do you know it works?
Each finished formulation is characterized with pharmacokinetic studies measuring absorption, bioavailability, time to peak, peak concentration, exposure, and duration. We measure performance rather than assume it, and results vary by molecule.
Is it safe?
The technology delivers across the body's own mucosal tissues, and permeation enhancement is designed to be temporary and supportive rather than forceful.
